Quinn Jay Patent charges $80.00 $65.00 an hour for its drafting service. We have billed by the hour for years and there are many reasons for it. The most important and cost saving reason is that many times we can very easily copy over portions of a sheet to another and finish a second sheet in half the time of the first. Also, since we work with a lot of repeat customers with patent applications that are similar or have similar drawings, we can pull figures or portions of a figure from a previous case, again saving time and cost versus a per sheet charge.  However, if your firm or your client prefers the per sheet pricing structure instead, we would welcome the opportunity to give you an estimate.

Quinn Patent started in 1953 primarily as a printer/reproducer of patent drawings for the then very different specifications of all foreign countries. Today, many countries have standardized their drawing regulations and will accept the electronic US versions that we prepare with little or no modifications— but if you need them — we will print them!

Please note that Quinn Jay Patent does not charge RUSH fees except in extreme situations and with prior notice.
